Accelerated by the pandemic, we’ve seen a shift in how people are participating in physical activity. With gyms closed and lockdowns in play, millions across the world have been forced to explore new ways to exercise.
In light of this, Gympass pivoted its business model and launched “Gympass Wellness” a digital platform offering a variety of services and products, from online workouts such as running, spinning, yoga, HIIT, and many more to tailored nutritional plans and even meditation.
Gympass looked to Sport Tech Hub to support this platform by creating an innovation pipeline enabling Gympass to recruit and find the best possible products to be added to Gympass Wellness.
Over the course of a few months Sport Tech Hub shared a vetted list of circa 45 apps with the wellness platform. Which is used to support the health wellbeing and fitness of over 10 million people across the world.
Currently, 15 apps from Sport Tech Hub are live on the platform, with more to follow shortly.
Sport Tech Hub are continuing to refer relevant start-ups and SMEs to Gympass as and when is needed.
Sport Tech Hub was born out of a vision to bring the power of tech innovation closer to national efforts to increase participation levels in physical activity and sport.
