“We are delighted that we’ve been chosen to represent the UK at Le Tremplin Invest, Europe’s biggest SportsTech investment event; and are excited to have the opportunity to showcase the innovations we have been working on at Baby2Body.

Our mission is to provide all women with the tools to improve their fitness, nutrition and wellbeing so they can optimise their health for conception, pregnancy and beyond.

As we continue to grow, we know that we are changing the face of health and wellbeing for women around the world and it will be an honour to be present at Global Sports Week.

Alex Zurita, Strategic Lead of Sport Tech Hub said:

“We are thrilled to partner with Le Tremplin once again to bring the best of the UK SportsTech ecosystem to Global Sports Week. As a leader in SportsTech within the UK, we took great pride in the selection process and finding the best possible talent to bring forward to Le Tremplin Invest. We couldn’t be more excited to see Baby2Body crowned as the UK representative.

A change in lifestyle such as going through pregnancy or COVID-19 could be a risk to women becoming less physically active, Baby2Body as a solution is there to counteract thisby acting as their personal fitness coach, while also providing further benefits for the mother and baby, pre and postbirth.

Baby2Body have grown immensely in the last few years, providing real value to women across the world.”

Patrick Colbeck, Programme Manager of Sport Tech hub said

“Each year we take a unique approach to our qualifying event choosing to focus on technology that aligns to our mission – to support people to live more active lives. We were blown away by the calibre of start-ups and how they were using technology.

From computer vision to artificial intelligence and even robotics, this event gave us amazing insight into how physical activity will be supported for years to come.

Even though we could only crown one champion, we also want to shine a light on the great innovation emerging from the UK.“

During Global Sports Week in February 2021, Baby2Body will pitch alongside 13 other start-ups; 7 French and 6 from Le Tremplin’s international partners and friends such as Sport Tech Hub.

The UK Qualifier

The selection event saw 16 start-ups pitching to a selected group of investors and industry experts.

From artificial intelligence, mixed reality and even a twist on robotics, all start-ups demonstrated how technology and innovation can make societal change by improving physical activity, mental wellbeing and positively impact public health.

Sport Tech Hub will look forward to supporting Baby2Body in advanced of the final event in February 2021.

While supporting all founders involved by being part of our Start-up and SME Database and wider community.

Plus, working with Le Tremplin, Global Sports Week and the wider UK SportsTech ecosystem on future qualifiers.
