As the UK’s first technology incubator programme dedicated to supporting start-ups driving innovation in physical activity and sport, we believe in the power of tech and sport to change lives.
Our 24-week programme runs once a year, focusing all our resources and efforts into scaling and supercharging 12 early stage start-ups.
What we’re looking for? The next big innovation in helping people to lead more active lives.
What we offer? Access to our unique network of business advisors, public funding expertise, angel investors, impact investors, entrepreneurs, athletes and tech giants, and a potential pool of partners including National Governing Bodies, Community Groups, Charities, Local Authorities and Policy Makers.
Our close association with London Sport offers direct access to the heart of sport in London; Sport Tech Hub’s network of supporters and collaborators offers a route to the future of your business.
We believe that technology can play a major role in solving the world’s physical inactivity crisis. And we believe that London is the best place to find that solution.
Sport Tech Hub exists to bring together the best and brightest of new innovations for physical activity and sport.
By delivering a 24 week bespoke programme of growth acceleration support for Sport Tech, Fit Tech and Health Tech start-ups, we want to drive adoption levels of digital products upwards to help increase levels of physical activity across London, by connecting our cohort with a broad range of potential partners, routes to market, public funding and seed investment.
Sport Tech Hub is backed by London Sport, the Mayor of London and Sport England. The hub is a community-led working environment where London Sport’s Specialist Advisors and Relationship Managers are as hands on with support as our investor-in-residence and CTO-in-residence. We regularly collaborate and invite our European counterparts to visit the space, meet our residents and learn about the Sport Tech scene in London. There are regular lunchtime talks with founders across tech, business and sport as well as trips to successful businesses that are exclusive to our members.
Our full-time residents and cohort are based within a thriving co-working space in the heart of London’s House of Sport, with other residents including Street League, Sported, BaseballSoftballUK, Rugby Football League, Women in Sport, MyTime Active and Disability Sports Coach.
“Being a part of Sport Tech Hub’s first cohort gave TrainAsONE the boost we needed to take our business to the next level. The Sport Tech Hub team’s commitment to helping every start-up to grow in the ways they need to is invaluable, and the access to London Sport and the wider sport industry provided an amazing sounding board for us as we worked to make TrainAsONE part of the future of SportTech.”
